Stylish hack n' slash games are rare now. Besides the obvious Platinum Games (and if Capcom will ever release a DMC 5...), you don't see other developers making these kind of games anymore.
So it's refreshing to see new IP in this genre, even if of the studio behind it is much smaller. That said, Assault Spy is still in Early Access on Steam and it's prone to some glitches from time to time. Even with that in mind, I'm enjoying a great deal. :)
There are a lot of moves to unlock that enhance your mobility and offensive options. Here I only had a base moveset for some weapons and the double air dash, but I can't wait to unlock everything.
I tried to keep the action as stylish as possible, got hit a couple of times but overall I did pretty good.
Please excuse if the image quality is rather poor, optimization isn't very good so far...
